Last October the Australia people decisively rejected at a referendum the proposal for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to have a special representative body to Federal Parliament. In this talk, conducted in English, Prof. Taylor will describe the proposal and consider why it was defeated.

Prof. Dr. Greg Taylor, LL.M., F.R.Hist.Soc. is an Australian legal historian and constitutional lawyer.
